RSA grant awards
16 May 2016
The table below shows a selection of RSA grants awarded over the six months to March 2016, specifically those awarded to young indigenous companies in Scot-land, some of which have appeared elsewhere in previous issues of YCF.

Scottish Enterprise highlighted in a press release the £150k grant to API Software Limited, trading as AutoRek, to help it develop its financial control and regulatory reporting software products in order to enhance its competitiveness on the global stage.

Managing director at AutoRek, Gordon McHarg, said “We’re at an exciting stage in our development as a company and are looking forward to working with Scottish Enterprise to realise the opportunities this grant will unlock for us. Scotland has provided an excellent base for us to build and expand, and we are glad to be able to help create these new products and jobs within the country.”

In the build up to a trade mission to Hong Kong organised by Scottish Development International to promote Scotland’s craft brewing industry, with 14 companies participating, SE also featured 71 Brewing and Fierce Beer, whose combined RSA funding of £120k is part of a total planned capital investment of over £600k which will support the creation of 11 new jobs.
