Young Company Finance (YCF) and LINC Scotland have embarked upon a strategic partnership with Rationale for the production of YCF’s monthly journal and Weekly Digest, and collaboration on the future direction of the YCF brand.
LINC Scotland (lincscot.co.uk) is the national association for business angels in Scotland with a membership that includes around one hundred investors operating individually, plus nineteen of the best-known structured angel groups or syndicates which account for around two thousand more.
The YCF business (www.ycfscotland.co.uk) was licensed to LINC in 2011, and LINC has published the YCF monthly journal since then. The Weekly Digest, a free email giving links to publicly announced investment deals and other news about the young company sector in Scotland, was started in April last year to complement the more complete coverage of the YCF journal.
Edinburgh-based Rationale (wearerationale.com) is a purpose-driven strategic brand and communications agency, which works with clients to define, articulate and amplify what matters most to their audiences, including customers and employees. Rationale has extensive experience of supporting young companies, with brand, creative, communications, messaging, content and more. This includes an ongoing partnership with the University of Edinburgh to work with a number of its commercialisation hubs (Edinburgh Innovations, Data-Driven Innovation, and Data-Driven Entrepreneurship).
Rationale will start the new partnership with the production of the April 2022 issue of YCF, and the Weekly Digests from April onwards.
